LSI is actively engaged in building the capabilities of elected Legislators and legislative personnel towards a better discharge of their functions of Legislation, Representation and Oversight.

LSI regularly conducts training/briefing workshops and sessions for Legislators.  As a non-partisan research institution, LSI also prepares well-researched briefing/background papers and case studies for Legislators and Legislative, legislative staff, and
politicians on crucial policy issues.

The LSI Report, the flagship publication of LSI in its democracy watch program, carries an in-depth yet concise quarterly review of democratic developments. LSI facilitates the formulation of issue-based caucuses across parties in the Legislatures. LSI also sensitizes the civil society organizations to lobby effectively with legislators on policy related issues.
